Systematic steps to buy your home

   
  Determine Your Time Line
Is buying an option or a requirement? Is your move to a new community due to a lifestyle or job change? Can you afford to purchase before selling an existing property? These will assist in determining a purchasing timeframe.
  What do You Have 
1.List attributes of your home.
2. Note dimensions of your favorite rooms. 3. Inventory your furniture and appliances. 4. Travel times to work and points of interest. 5. Itemize Current Housing Expenses- water, sewer, electric, gas, telephone, trash, fees, and maintenance.
 
  Determine What you Want
1. Desired Location, Neighborhood, Community and Gated communities, desired schools, home size and quality. 2. Style and home design, bedrooms, baths, stories, bedrooms down, grandparents quarters,  home office, or guest bathrooms. 
 
  Get the Financing
Purchase of most homes require financing.  Most Sellers will require letters from your lender stating that you can afford a house base on credit, employment and asset verifications  before they are willing to commit to any Buyer's offer. 
Once we have a contract on a home the lender will rece
ive a copy of the contract and obtain an appraisal of the home to confirm minimum value and condition of the home.
